end of the semester
So first semester of sophomore year after what seemed like forever is over...
it's been an interesting and more dramatic than i'd have liked semester - i'll sum it up in pros and cons. but first i'll share my past few days.
Friday it was snowing all day pretty much then after classes i went to valley road to go over the outline for my history paper. Prof. Beagle told me that I think like a historian, just hearing that made me happy because it means that I'm doing something right in my life...at least that's one thing. After that I went back to my room and dinner wasn't long after with Amanda then we were joined by Joe and Tanner and later by Brian. By the time we got back to the room, I had to get ready for Last Comic Standing and Stress Relief Fridays. I had a blast, laughing at the comedians and Prof. Baick mixed with turning into cotton candy, getting to know someone new, spending time with people I already know and love, and getting an air brushed t-shirt. After everything was cleaned up it was almost 1, Karla came back to the room and we talked about a lot of stuff and we both got a lot out that we needed to talk to someone about. We then headed down the hall to see Amanda and she came back with us and Britta and Morgan. Britta and Morgan didn't stay long and Karla, Manda, and Amanda, and I sat up talking, Morgan came back later and we were up til about 4.
Saturday I slept in - or at least attempted to I was up listening to the goings on of 204 - always an adventure. During the day I got most of my packing done and then it was time for dinner. Something else went on that I can't remember until Amanda and I went to Breen's to keep her company on duty - it was so much fun. Julie joined us later and we played Disney Scene It and we're still convinced that Breen was just lucky.
Sunday I slept in again and then did some stuff around the room to make sure everything was perfect, then I cooked for the Pot Luck CAB social thing. Went to the social from 6 til a little after 8 when I went over to Rivers where Breen was running the movie. Before leaving though I had to say goodbye to Pat which was sad cuz he's not coming back next semester. She and I sat in the back for most of hte first one, then she went over by a friend and I talked to Steve. Before the second showing Garrett, Manda, Breen, Steve, and I made popcorn and were joined by Jeni.
so my pro/cons of the semester -
Pros made new friends, became closer to people I already knew, my grades went up, i was able to work out schedules for myself, i got my work done, the new CAB eboard, NACA, my roomie, dropping old hatreds, getting my name out there, didn't drink too much, really enjoying the idea of traditions chair
Cons losing my best friend, not being able to not care, people being told stuff that didn't happen, RA, vice pres, not enough time for everything, hiding everything i felt, disliking too many people, letting that disliking grow, drama, procrastination, a mess, realizing how much people can suck, a pointless crush, wanting to transfer, wanting to take a semester off, crying myself to sleep multiple nights, getting myself in deeper, rumors
so overall - it could've been a lot better of a semester and i feel like shit about so much...
if i could do it again, what would happen?
i just wish people could realize that when they're hurt, other people could be hurting more and maybe they should open their eyes

so overall - it could've been a lot better of a semester and i feel like shit about so much...
if i could do it again, what would happen?
i just wish people could realize that when they're hurt, other people could be hurting more and maybe they should open their eyes
