the first real weekend @ wnec
right now, I'm not sure things could get better here. I'm where I belong...
Friday --
I was done with classes by 2 and at that point Manda and I were both exhausted so we came back to our room and watched a Dirty Shame (the real version, thanks to KT Green for showing me that movie) and then I went on a frantic search for my missing ID. It turned out that when I put my books away, the ID fell under it. Anyway, we went to dinner then came back to our room for a little until I had to go to the comedian to help with set up. It was an interesting time cuz I spent time with CAB kids that weren't exec for the first time and realized how great exec is gonna stay next year if things go as planned :) yay. The comedians were great and luckily I was far enough up that the sound problems didn't affect me. After the comedians were all cleaned up I walked with Amanda (not my roomie) back to La Riv and talked to her a little then went back to my room. Matty, Nate, and JD came over around 9:45 which was when Laura left (she'd only been over for a little bit) and we hung out watching Hook and some old school Nick that's on my computer (and on the network at \\bitchface for all you WNEC kids). Around 1:30, everyone left and we were getting ready to go to bed until Laura came to the door. Ended up in bed around 2:30.
Saturday --
Woke up around noon and found Julie and Kasi waiting "patiently" for Amanda and me so that we could go to the mall. We left at like 1:30 and spent a lot of money but had some good suitemate bonding time which shopping to make the suite amazing. I still owe Kas some money, but since I'm currently unemployed (story for another time) it's gonna be a while til I pay her back the (I think) $15 I still owe her. The girls gave me gas money cuz they rock like that. At 5:15, we were in 99s and I realized that I was going to be late for my own movies so we rushed there and then got back around 6:15 and luckily the screen guys didn't need the help they told me that they did. During the setup I was talking to Dan and Brenna which was fun. When the movies were ready there were tons of people there and it made me happy though I was a little disappointed that I didn't get as many people as my last outdoor movie. When the movies were over I went over to the midnight buffet, but they had enough hands to help so I went over to watch the bad karaoke with Matty, Garrett, Nate, JD, Nick, and Devon. Nick and Devon left then a few minutes later Nate and JD couldn't handle the pain in their ears any longer. I went back to my room a little before 2 and pretty much crashed.
Sunday --
Slept in then did hw and just vegging for the majority of the day. Sunday night we had suite bonding time until like midnight when I went over to commonwealth to Ron, Matty, and Garrett's room with Manda. They put on Die Hard but I couldn't sit still and unlike my roommate I don't think that Bruce Willis is hot (though he is better than Burt Reynolds). JD and Nate came over for a little bit then Nate left because he was tired. Matty and Ron were doing homework and I was playing with the magnetic darts. Manda, JD, and me left around 3ish.
Monday --
Got up at 9 to be at WNECpalooza by 10. Set up sound equiptment. Spent the day doing that. Got back at 8:45 and wanted to sleep but had to do laundry so the suite bonding continued even with Dan yelling at us. Wanted to go to bed early but Laura and Henry came over til 1ish.
Tuesday --
Classes then a PEN meeting then a PEN exec meeting then played Disney games with Julie, Manda, Kasi, and Yeager.
Friday --
