Jason and Jessica
Is anyone else bothered with the idea of them as a couple/hook up sex partners? It just REALLY bothers me with the idea of them together. I know Jason is a bit of a horn dog but I just can't see him betraying Hoyt that way. Rene' turning out to be a bad guy really screwed Jason up. He really leaned on Hoyt after that and I just don't see him doing

In real life, there are very few guys who adhere to any "bro code". I'm finding the story line true to life. Add in the supernatural element of vampire blood and that the writers think that healthy relationships are boring (which applies to friendship too), and you have Jason and Jessica. So, no, it doesn't bother me. If I want to see love, loyalty, and idealism, I go to Friday Night Lights, not True Blood. lol

But the Taylors were the real deal! And eventually, Tim & Lyla were loyal to each other, Matt & Julie were good with each other, and I can't remember who else but it was a good depiction of healthy relationships, imo.
*sigh* I'm really gonna miss that show. :(
