“We’ve seen Sookie tempted by Eric for four years,"

This is where the show totally loses me as a fan. Other than the year-long fairy gap, the show's storyline has only been going on for a few months. But apparently it's not only the writers who have totally forgotten that.

I'm pretty sure he means we, the audience, has seen her tempted for four years (seasons). Not that Sookie has been obsessed with Eric for four years in the show.

That's probably what he meant, but it still seems to me that the writers have lost their sense of the characters' time. It's admittedly hard to keep something current in a character's mind when it happened years ago in everyone else's.

Suddenly, Eric was a lovesick puppydog, and fans of Bill watched in horror as he and Sookie engaged in some epic moonlit shagging.

1) Not only Bill fans
2) Everyone was happy Bill wasn't in the picture.

That writer is probably Ball's boyfriend.

Agreed. Plenty of us are Bill/Sookie shippers, thankyouverymuch.

Personally, I've been waiting for Eric and Sookie to get together since the series began (since I've read the books).

But....I think this season has been the weakest so far, I just can't get into most of the storylines on the show.

I'm fine with the show deviating from the books, but I just wish wish there was a little more......something.....with character development...

I can see if people are a huge Bill or Eric fan (seems most people like Eric more) But IMHO Bill is totally carrying the season. My favorite scenes so far are from him and his awesome facial expressions.

he's had some great acting in the last couple episodes and I am NOT a Bill fan from the books! I find myself liking him despite myself. :)

He really has risen to the occasion and become the dominant force on the show this season, the leading man. His storyline is as diverse and complex as any we've seen on True Blood.
