From the "Weekend Update" Dept.
Here's the score:
Monty went to the vet.
Vet checked him out (Dr "Pepper") - stuck a thermometer into his anus - looked in this eyes - asked him if he was "ok" - told me that it's likely, as we all thought, something he probably picked up outside (I guess kind of like insaniac's doggy). I told the doc that I didn't think it would be but then he said "You'd be surprised what lays beneath the snow.."
I guess living in a condo where people (and other doggies) leave "things behind" when they're out isn't exactly the best place to be but hey... I watch the boy as best as I can.
I got some stuff to settle his tummy and some new food from the vet - it's for his GI tract - I fed Monty only a little bit of it (like 1/4 of a cup) @ 5:00pm and he seems to enjoy the food and so far *touches wood* he's been good. He's more active with the food in him and he's now convalescing in the living room..
I hope he doesn't explode again in his crate this evening... I'm not up for waking up at 4:00am to clean up that shit... literally..
