"You could be ROAMING!"
Okay so over the summer my Dad's sister came to visit us with my Uncle and weird cousin. She wanted an update, you know the distant relative type update, so I told her I was going to be Madonna for Halloween and I got this e-mail back talking about how she saw Madonna on TV and thought of me. She said :
" Now is a good time to start thinking about what image you want to project to men and project to all about your Christianity. Madonna has used sex with animals and pretending to be lesbian to market her music. Do some research into this. Do you really want to project an interest in this with men? Could you possible put yourself into an unsafe position by portraying Madonna? "
and ended it with in your best interest.
I couldn't even think of how to reply to that. I sat there and read it over to make sure my eyes weren't deceiving me because this is coming from the lady that has made my cousin demand people to take their socks off before going to sleep so they don't get foot fungus. Yeah, when I was 7 I was worried about my broken crayons and trying to stay up past my bed time.
I still haven't written back and probably won't because I can't just say I appreciate her concern and then lie and say I won't be Madonna for Halloween.
