I love a great comeback story so I love to see Mickey Rourke live out his own. I can't say that I ever had a crush on him but I did love to watch him in the offbeat films he often chose. Anyone remember Homeboy? He seems to excel at playing down and out fighters not necessarily reaching for the top but just trying to hold on. Despite his rough reputation he creates these really vivid characters that just break your heart.

So. I guess I'll be seeing The Wrestler later this month.
