A few weeks ago I had a business lunch with a lawyer, and we got to talking about rugby versus soccer. The guy said that "Soccer is a gentelman's game played by ruffians, and rugby is a ruffian's game played by gentlemen." I really liked the quote and wanted to put it up here, but kept forgetting. So why do I like this quote so much, when its obviously meant to insult soccer players? Thought I like the idea of soccer as a "gentleman's game," I like the idea of being a "ruffian" even more. Nobody has ever called me a ruffian before. /grin
