shut up, stupid!
Today, I guess, CNN had Dubya on their morning program. I'm glad I missed it, or I'd be in the market for a new TV about now. I know I shouldn't fret about him anymore, but seriously - just how pitifully lame and dangerously ineffectual was he these past eight years?
He lists as his regrets "...saying some things I shouldn't have said. Like 'dead or alive' and 'bring 'em on.' My wife reminded me that, hey, as president of the United States, be careful what you say."
And as for what he's proud of: "... to be the commander in chief of people who are so selfless and so courageous that they would volunteer to serve our country in a time of war," he said. "I'm proud when I see people feed the hungry. I'm proud when I'm in Africa and see volunteers helping those citizens dying of HIV/AIDS."
So, apparently, he's unable to cite a single personal accomplishment or any benefit he's brought the nation in two terms in the Oval Office. Gaaaaah!
