Old Friends Week
Sorry folks, yes it's been a while because I've had nothing to say until now...in today's ever decreasing distances that are the social networks...I've been running into people that I haven't thought of in years nor did I think they remembered me with anything less than a cursory "What ever happened to.." at best at worst, well let's just say I'm hoping nothing of the occult is involved....
So, getting back to my ramblings...the Facebook phenomenon is shrinking our personal universe at an ever increasing rate that I've now been contacted by no less than 3 people from Junior High School...now while I have some good memories of people I also, like everyone had some bad...my question is this...is it a good thing to be in contact with this many people from your past or should you try to see where things could lead you to now that you are all adults and not looking at the world through the narrow view of a child?
Personally, I am looking forward to seeing how some of these people eased into adulthood...could give me some new perspective...especially when I realize that some of them have already proven that the choices I made were the right ones...especially for me
