Puking from Airplanes

So I woke up this morning to realize a couple of inches of snow had fallen and that it was 11 degrees, but felt like negative 2. LOVELY. So I pretty much decided to stay inside. I was studying for a while and falling asleep also. lol. So when JP called and wondered if I wanted to go sledding I decided to go. A couple of people had been out at the girls house playing already. So we got to the girls' house and Dave pulled Jacob and I(on sleds)behind his truck. We went around the house and then in the ditches. It was really fun and I would have stayed out longer, but I could no longer feel my fingers. I didn't have good gloves on since they are at home...oops. So Lindsay, JP, and I had a snowball fight and hot chocolate later.

Then Dave suggested going flying. At first I wanted to go back and study some more, but then I wanted to go. So Dave and I went out to the airport and got his plane ready. It is a bright yellow, 1945, two seat-er that you have to start by hand! lol. It was soooo cold out there. We flew around Carbondale/Murphsbury for a while and then went to the Mississippi River. We chased d deer in fields, broke up a flock of birds, and came at a train head on(in the air so there wasn't any danger). We were in a field by the Mississippi where Dave did all kinds of turns, dives, flips ect. It was tons of fun. Kinda felt like a smooth roller coaster, but more pressure. I took a couple of pictures and we'll see how they turn out. Dave said we did a max of G3 force. So not bad, but still good. I got to fly the plane a couple of times. I didn't do anything crazy, since I didn't want to kill us. lol.

On the way home was interesting. My stomach felt queasy and my sweatshirt was really tight against my throat. So...I kinda threw up and Dave had to open the hatch to the cockpit while I puked. lol He had to do that two other times. Then my puke froze instantly on my coat! EWWWWW!!! I got some on the head phones I was wearing and my sunglasses...I felt terrible! He didn't care though, thank goodness. So I got back around 6, and am now just feeling better. I don't regret going cuz I had a ton of fun, but I think I will go again when it isn't soooo cold out. Since we were at higher altitudes it was even colder, making it around 10 or 15 below. YIKES! So my first time flying in a tiny airplane is memorable! lol
