I'm so ExCiTeD!!!!
In less the 48 hours I'll be on my way to Tennessee to see Brooke!!! I can't wait. ROAD TRIP!!!!!
The down-side (if there is one) is that I realized this morning that I have way to much stuff to do before I go. I have laundry from Saturday to put away. Dirty clothes since Saturday to wash. A bathroom to clean. A room to clean. A closet to organize...which will happen when I put my clean clothes away. And, most importantly...PACK!!! But, nothing can rain on my parade!!! I'm going on a road trip and I get to see changing leaves and all sorts of wonderful things!!! Can't wait.
The tentative itenary is I'll get there late Thursday night. Friday we may have to go to Lee University for a project Brooke has to do with two classmates. That'll be nice becuase that's where my cousin and his wife graduated from and they met and married there. We're also going to do the World's Fair Market and then catch an Ice Bears Hockey game that night. Saturday...we travel more. Probably to the Great Smokey Mountains and to Gatlinburg. There is no agenda Saturday, which will be nice, as long as we're out of town by 10...Homecoming game is that day, so it's bound to get a little crazy around town. Then Sunday is church and I'll head back after lunch sometime.
I plan to take a TON of pictures!!! I can't wait!!! It's going to be great fun.
In other news...had a pretty good weekend. Friday night was Jason Upton...and it was absolutely amazing!!! Saturday I stayed in all day. Then met Jena for an early dinner and Eric joined us. Then we headed to the mall and met up with Marisa; then Els joined us. After Beck got off work, we went to see Jarhead. Horrible movie!!!! I knew it was rated R and the language would be bad...but I've been around 20 drunk marines at one time and the language was just as bad as the movie. But the sexual content was way more than expected. We finally walked out after about an hour of the movie. I felt so gross just having been in there that long. It did feel good to walk out, though. UGH!!!! BAD MOVIE!!!!
Sunday was church, of course. Pastor spoke a really good message about being rescued by God. Then I hung out at Ganelles all day then Rez after. After Rez, four of us headed to Jena's for about an hour or so and just hung out and had fun...sort of (long story, not going to get into it here...not my place to say). Bittersweet to say the least.
