Where, oh where, has our GS gone?

Dec 08, 2008 02:32

Hey, Georgie.....where have you gone? No postie since the 5th when the BG went to party, and you've been so sick lately. You have me pretty worried. Just 'peep' for me so I know you are ok.

Did you get a package in the mail?

Hey. Sorry to have worried you. I'm still here. Just in a kind of funk and not really into human interaction lately.

Between the fights with the insurance company, serious money crises, the changing weather, the Big Guy's needing the computer during finals, having nothing worthwhile to say, changes in my drugs & changes in my doctors, decorating for Christmas, dealing with a sickly child (aka "the Carrier"), and some major social gaffes lately, I'm kinda hanging out in the shadows (which is better than hiding out under the bed).

I'm sorry to have worried you, and thank you for asking. I promise I'll be back soon. And probably with more posts than anyone will want to read. Although I'm not posting, I am still taking notes on the silly things in life.

Also on the bright side, I get to go to Red Lobster on Friday!!!!! That has me really excited. It also makes me really happy to remember where I was the last time I got to eat Red Lobster. :)) I MISS YOU!!!

And yes, a package did come from you. I wasn't sure if I should open it now or put it under the tree. *?shrug?*

You can open it now. Close enough to your birthday. This isn't really YOUR present. Wrap the LG's and put it under the tree from you. Your bag of crazy stuff will be coming soon. STILL been sitting on my desk.

Is it too late to beg you to please not send stuff? We don't have the money to do Christmas for everyone this year.

I suspect you're in the same jam.

The LG made most of our Christmas presents last night. Those are so much more warming to my heart than anything store bought (not to mention wallet friendly). He was so excited about them - bouncing around talking about his God Brothers. I wish we'd had the video camera charged up because it would have brought tears of love to your eyes.

As I tucked him in last night he pulled me close and said "I love Miss Trish." I kid you not. We really need to unite our *family* again soon.

That is what Christmas is about.

LY. MI.

Oh, I really only bought for LG. The things I am sending you are small items picked up over time. One thing from Aruba, different funny things over time. More of 'I'm thinking of you' stuff - 'This made me laugh and think of you'.

So did you get the delivery already for LG? I can't believe it is taking this long!

Oh, check by the front door. The tracking says his gift was delivered to your front door FIVE DAYS AGO. I want to make sure it isn't missing.

I so wish we could all be together for Christmas. I would rather spend money on that than gifts.

Let my LG know that I love and miss him too. Smooch the BDDD too, but wipe the slobber off first :)

Re: BEST GIFT EVER!!!!!!!!! trshtwns01 December 9 2008, 00:07:57 UTC
They didn't give me any option for gift stuff, so I tried to sneak in 'From Trish' in the address. The golf thing is for LG to play in the backyard with BG. Or in the living room. You know them.

I'm glad you laughed about the bucket. Amazingly, I spent many HOURS online pouring over which bucket to buy. I can't believe I put that much into something like that *laugh* It was important to me that you have THE BEST PURPLE BUCKET EVER!!!

Oh - I screened your last comment because you had your real name in it.

Oh wow. I can't believe I actually put my name out there on the Internet. Shows how brain damaged I truly am. Holy Shit!!! I can't believe I did that.

We didn't get the other box. The purple bucket is the only thing that made it here.

And I can't tell you how much I cried over that purple bucket. I KNEW you had to have spent time hunting for it. That was my very first thought: "How the hell?"

Then when it came with a written warranty I nearly peed myself.

THANK YOU!!!

Did the boys use/enjoy the paper airplane books I sent last year? Honestly. I have a few neighbors with little boys that I need to buy for. How do you & the boys rate those books?

Thumbs up or thumbs down?

They were great, and the boys loved them. They just need to have parental help to make many of them.

Cool. Good to know.

I figured they'd be an absolute hit or a total flop. I'll only order them for the kids with *hands on* interactive parents.

Thanks for the feedback.
