Another day another dollar. :P
So today I get to drive to K-16. It's not a hard trip - I've been there a bunch of times - but today the sky is completely grey, and it will likely monsoon again. Stupid tropical storms... *grumble*
Had a weird dream last night... early in the night, I had a dream that I shoplifted a CD... don't remember exactly what it was - but I did it for whatever reason - while I was home on leave. Then right before I woke up - I had another dream, that my mom and I were getting ready to go to church and we were becoming later and later - and then my dad came in with a newspaper which had "U.S. Soldier caught shoplifting on camera" on the front page, and the article gave my name... and then one of the local reserve guys showed up and took me to his office (which was a random shack in the woods full of out-of-shape reserve soldier girls who were checking me out) and basically told me that the government was going to absorb the cost and I wasn't in trouble, because I was a "good soldier" or whatever. Then he told me I'm getting a medal next month... lol. But here I was, crying and stuff - because I was so ashamed I had marred my record - wanted to refuse the medal and everything - almost wanted them to arrest me - especially after I saw the bill the government was "absorbing"... like - $67,000 or something.
Anyway - enough about my crazy dreams. Have to get to work so I can drive in the downpour. Hope everyone else has a good day... maybe will write more later on.
