Here's another installment in the job hunting saga.
I had a second interview last Tuesday with the CEO of Quantisense. Two and a half hours and one severe ping-pong beating later, I was done. I had a fantastic time, and apparently he did too, or so he said several times during and at the end of the interview. We connected very well and he expanded my understanding of the position significantly (it is a Product Development position more so than a Software Development position really). I brainstormed some ideas about where to take the product (after we "productize" it a bit more) and hit some home runs with some of my technical interests (data visualization a la Edward Tufte). I'm excited about it. From what I heard from the recruiter, so is the CEO. I should know more by Wednesday after they do a couple of additional first interviews.
Apparently I am also still under consideration for a position with CableLabs out in Denver. Should know more about that next week.
I'm really ready to get back to work now.
