Interview Questions from Rani

Rani asked me these questions.  How could I deny her appropriate answers?
  1. Describe your perfect date, from beginning to end.

Hmmm, Let's see, if I can paint a picture that would be astounding.  Bearing in mind that there are so many variants of a perfect date.  But this is one that I can imagine for my future...

It's my 3 year-anniversary after pledging my life, body, soul and world to the perfect woman.  After all those years, we still have this unmistakable love and lust for each other that is unquenchable.  We're still at that point where the mere ring on our cell phones with our special ring-tones is still enough to put a smile upon our faces.  We've already made some plans for the evening.  Special surprises for each other.  I get the first shift of the daylight hours.  In that, we find a hot dog vendor that sells the good hot dogs (and Italian Sausages) that we enjoy because, let's face it Hot Dogs are awesome. After that, we take a long walk through a wildlife preserve scrambling over rocks and enjoying the nature and atmosphere.  We see Deer and raccoons and a ton of squirrels.  After finind our way up to a secluded area we find a waterfall that is just begging to be savored.  Relaxing in the sun, with the water bouncing around us, we just lay there and relax, cuddled up to one another, as she's nestled her head in that perfect spot on my shoulder.

Knowing that we can't stay there forever, even though we both want to, we head off to the second part of our date.  Her part of the surprise.  She takes me on a tour of whatever is special to her.  (Details are not listed here, as this is her part of the date and surprise, not mine.  This is the part where she lets me in on more of what she wants and desires, not what she thinks I want... and in the case of this question, it really is about getting to know her better, and not stating what I want her to show me.)

We end the evening with Thai food, and Mango Sticky Rice (that was taken to go) as we have plans to make use of our hot tub and private landscape, in the midst of the warm summer rain, with lightning in the background highlighting our moments of ecstasy.

The date is not over until we wake up in each other's arms and look at each other and ensure that we're the first thing that hte other sees, thus inspiring us to a new day.

    How's that?

  2. Who would play you on TV?

On TV? Hmmmm, I guess I'd hae to go with Josh Halloway (Sawyer from Lost) He's got the long hair, and the sarcastic attitude that goes a long way... Now granted a lot of that may be based on his character of Sawyer, but whenever you play a role, you have to put some of you into it.

And let's face it, I'm not cool enough to have Nathon Fillion (Mal Reynolds)to play me.
  3. What was your last dream about?

I honestly can't think of what my last dream was, nor what was the last dream I remember.  I do recall some of my dreams though, and they are often about protecting a kid or rescuing a kid from something.  Next time I sleep, I'll try to remember it and post a note about it... but if you ever want to know one of my most twisted dreams, ask me about the Asylum dream that was all about the Pan

  4. You get one wish -- no world peace, no million dollars or wishing for more wishes -- what do you wish for?

I would wish to have Eternal life and health, until I decided it was time to be done.  There is so much to see and do in this world, but I would want to have an out if it ever got really bad.

  5. How are you doing -- really.

Honestly, some days are better than others.  recently, I've been really good.  I've been confused with work, but excited at the same time.  My health is pretty good, although I'd be happier if I could get the motivation and the tenacity to get rid of my gut.  I like my social situation at the moment, and I love my friends. I miss many of them, but that is the nature of them as well as I having lives that don't always intersect.  There are always going to be things that I wish could be better, but overall, I know that I live a relatively blessed life, and I do my best to never forget that.
