I'm told it's important to maintain student interest in the learning process. I know, it sounds ridiculous to me too, but that's what they said at the seminar!

Oh, definitely. I've already added you to the roster. I'll expect to see you bright and early on the first day, with an essay on your understanding of Newton's third law of motion and its influence on your everyday life.
