Honestly, and the terrible commercial voice-overs notwithstanding, this man only becomes more and more my hero as times goes on. Some day, when they are turning my life story into a movie, I insist on the part of me being played by Patrick Stewart. I don't care if he's long dead by then.
Also, Ian Shedd had some family issues and won't be returning to the University next year. Since he was going to be the clarinet section leader and I was going to be assistant section leader, I've been promoted and may be the only section leader. This is, of course, a disaster waiting to happen.
