ABOUT THE PLAY: "Dracula"
Original novel by Bram Stoker
Adapted for the stage by John Mattera
Directed by Michael Babish
Theatre@First is proud to bring an adaptation of the 1897 Bram Stoker classic Dracula to the stage this February. A dramatic presentation of the gothic tale, Dracula tells of the tale of an ancient foe whose charisma hides a horrific evil. Can the efforts of the few mortals who know the truth stop him before he takes not only their lives, but their very souls?
The performance takes the audience from the mountains of Transylvania, across the seas and to the very heart of Victorian London. The story weaves action, horror and romance together with a surprise or two.
The cast includes the very talented newcomer Ronald Lacey as Dracula, Jamianne Devlin (Proof, EMACT Dash award nominee) as Renfield, Marty Seeger (Big Broadcast of 1938) as Lucy and Somerville’s own Tom Champion as Dr. Seward.
Reserve your tickets early! Seating is limited.
