yeah so ever the latecomer I finally marathoned series one of Merlin, and is it just me or is the dragon in fact an enchanted 13-year-old fangirl who is manipulating Merlin and Arthur into acting out her epic RPF? I mean seriously, in the first few episodes we have Merlin lying in bed and moaning out Arthur's name(I won't even mention that he also moaned "faster, faster" while thinking of Arthur), the dragon will.not.stop going on and on about their "destiny" and how their fates are intertwined. Arthur pretty much picks on Merlin the same way Tommy used to yank Suzie's pigtails and kick sand on her in kindergarten. Any beautiful female who takes an interest in Arthur inevitably turns out to be an evil witch in disguise. Also, no one seems to have noticed that Guinevere is not caucasian. This is not a wank, I just find it amusing and somewhat sad that a BBC period piece set in medieval England is more racially diverse than your average NBC sitcom set in current NYC.
