I've added quite a lot of new people over the past couple of months, yet I've been noticing that people, old and new, have barely been writing comments. This is making me sad. It's funny that you should ask. I'm currently applying for all those scholarship programs, who all ask that question on their forms. So I have to come up with new answers all the time, depending on what scholarship I'm applying to - there are some programs that would take me on due to my thesis topic, because they're programs for research on literature, others that would take me on due to my day job at the Chamber of Commerce. There would be ways of combining those two things, for example working in fields such as diversity management (since I write my thesis about homosexuality), in a job at a union, or just economic marketing stuff. But I'm not sure if I'd be any good, or happy, at that.
Originally the plan was to stay in academia. I dunno, I'd still like to do that. I have whole lists of things I'd like to research, and I'd be really good at it, too. Though I'd never make a lot of money. So I've decided to postpone thinking about it altogether until the scholarship stuff is out of the way. I really would like to do something to do with writing stories. I don't have to write them myself - working for a publishing house would be a lot of fun. So, I really don't know yet.
