This looks like fun. I don't watch doctor shows (or lawyer shows) on the general theory that it's too much like my job for me to do anything except nitpick. So I know nothing about ER, but I'm very fond of X-Men.

It shouldn't be hard to follow the story, since it stops taking place in the E.R. environment altogether around chapter 3. I hear what you're saying about doctor shows and nitpicking. I have issues like that when reading books such as The Da Vinci Code. ;)

I like this, the nuanced, realistic details. While I know nothing of E.R., I've always loved a good crossover that feels real. This does.
