Of course, we were the very first people writing fic for that "The Odds Are Never In Your Favor" THG ficathon at all, which is sad. Then again, millari and I had trouble getting prompts we could write fic for out of it. I've always got problems with those quotation prompts that everybody uses - these pretty poetic things. Half the time, I don't even get what they're supposed to mean; the other half, I'm like "Well that's a nice way of describing the character, but why add fic to it?" There are of course also the ones where I wonder whether that person has read the same book as me. ([coughs]Haymitch/Effie[/coughs]) I wish people would leave more prompts of the variation of, "I'd like fic wherein the following things happen." That I can work with.
