Having spent the last few days with nothing to do, I have rediscovered reading.
'Extremely Loud and Incredibly Close' by Jonathan Safran Foer proved to be worth the effort.
I'm not going to say much about it, other than it's about a 9 year old boy coming to terms with his dads death, and I suppose more generally how we deal with tragedy, and I cried after only two pages. Then I kept crying.
