I'm leaving in just a few hours to go back to San Mateo. Gladly I have someone watching my place again. With me gone for the better part of 3 weeks, that makes me feel pretty good.
But I figured I would share the 2 new phrases I learned last week.
OSIF Moment - The moment in time when you realize "Oh S#!+, I'm F--ked". It may be your fault or it could just happen to you, but suddenly your plans have gone horribly awry and it's time to start bailing water out of the boat.
Swivel-chair integration - When you are "integrating" two different computer systems by typing the output of one as an input to the other. For instance, if you take an excel spreadsheet and it gives you a number, then you type that number into TurboTax to do your taxes, you have just performed a swivel-chair integration.
