The News

I'm an American, so it's sometimes tough to keep up with the international news. I don't make excuses about it. It's just how it is.

Regardless, I do try to keep up with the rest of the world. I don't always succeed, but I try. Today I'm finding out about Sudan and Myanmar (Burma) through kacih and glaucusSo I'll pass the 3 articles I've been ( Read more... )

Here in Europe pretty much all the news we get is international. I don't know German, so I usually don't watch the local Swiss news. And we also get the BBC, so we do get a small dose of what's happening in England (not much, usually).

But generally we watch CNN (the international version), BBC International, and Al Jazeera. All have excellent coverage.

The expelling of the aid groups from Sudan is all over the news here. That, and the attempted massacre of the Sri Lankan Cricket team in Pakistan, which is possibly vaguely related tot he situation in Myanmar. They've still not caught the gunmen.
