The 4th
I'm not going to go through the plans that I had fall through. I got to have a fabulous dinner with DrAimee and her parents last night, then I went to see fireworks with her and Nathan. LiberalRyan is in Memphis right now so DrAimee just invited Nathan and I. Then we went back to her house and talked about Karl Marx's theory of alienation and how he didn't predict consumerism and imagined relationships with fictional characters satisfactorily (at least from a societal standpoint) replacing traditional societal constructs.
Then I went to the Kwik-E-Mart with Nathan to buy some Buzz Cola and a Sqwishy, as if to prove the point. The lady behind the cash register even talked about how she'd worked for 7-11 for 10 years and never seen so many happy people as she had since they brought in the Simpsons characters and merchandise.
