I Think I Wore Them Out
Funny night last night. I finally got several of my coworkers from India and the Philippines to go out with me last night. They just wanted to do karaoke, so it was easy. I don't think they were ready for the Ben's scene. Not that Ben's is anything all that huge, but karaoke in Asia is very small-scale, in a room.
They had a lot of fun. JefferyTaco and I showed them how the books work. I sang a bunch. They sang as a group under the name Joe Cool & The Gang. They also had never seen a halfyard before, and they were impressed. One of them took about a half-dozen pics of the glass and people holding and drinking out of it. Another decided that the beer glass was what was really bigger in Texas.
So they had a good time, and I'm glad. They've all been working too hard, and it was nice that I could show them a fun place to be for one evening, especially since I didn't even have to go out of my way to do it and because they got to meet ADHD, SloshedJosh, and JefferyTaco, plus my brother and the kickballers. Fun times.
