Mensa to the rescue
I found a new Tuesday night activity if I get stuck without anything else to do. Mensa GenX does a Tuesday Night Trivia every week, and it ends with the trivia at The Flying Saucer in Addison from 9-11PM. Quite fun. Plus, for you MBand guys, I ran into Spaz who's become a Beer Knurd up there.
We came in 4th overall. Not enough sports or music knowledge. I let the team down apparently. But did YOU know that Kenny G was a member of the Love Unlimited Orchestra? Puh-lease. I guessed that it was probably Maynard Ferguson because the trivia guy likes to tie things into current events, Maynard died recently, and the question was "What member of the Love Unlimited Orchestra later had albums on the Top 40 Jazz Charts" and I always forget that there are people out there who actually consider Kenny G jazz. (WTF?)
So the rest of the week should be right on track. Hopefully.
