i wont deny that deep down in my heart i've always thought i had a fair chance of getting in.
now that i've actually turned in the application, i realize it was just profound hope. hope so strong it felt real, it made all reason and reality disappear.
the second i pushed that button, reality crept back in, and that awkward pointless hope disappeared.
i liked the other feeling better.
