Dating.
So, I'm dating again. Well, I've been on one date. But it was a really good date. I enjoyed it a lot.
The plan was to get together for a meal, somewhere, and talk for awhile, get to know each other. About 3 hours later, the restaurant closes, so we decide to go look for a quiet bar.
The first bar we tried was too noisy. The second bar was better, live music, and we could hang out in the other room, where it was quieter, and had more privacy. I ran into oe of my friends at the bar, a waiter from my favorite restaurant on Boulder. But, mostly, we sat in the corner and talked.
About 4 hours later, we were still talking, when the Bar closed for the night, so we went to a 24hour IHOP in Boulder, and ate snacky things, and talked some more.
At 4AM, we both went home.
She's cute. She's pretty tall. She's smart. She's fun to talk to. And we keep finding out about common interests we have. And I keep wondering why I've never met her before this.
So, wish me luck on future dates, because I think this could be a long fun friendship, and maybe a strong relationship.
(And I can definitely use the companionship. The fact that she's cute and fun are also big pluses...)
