Thursday
Sooooo... got in to work yesterday, not really sure what to expect. When I'd left on Wednesday it hadn't been said if we were getting the improved site or not so as i said, not sure what to expect! But when Ben got in found out the site was going up & we had nothing to really do until 12.30pm. So we sat about, chatting, I checked out some other websites like Ben wants me to do - including John Lewis, Debenhams and LEGO!!! hee! It's mail order, I'm allowed! and I found out that they have BATMAN LEGO!!! It's so frickin cool! Hee!! Anyways, Ben didn't let me go for my lunch at 12.30 but then the deploy was delayed so we both waited until 1.15 we go cheesed off with waiting. Then we came back from lunch and found out it was going to be up til 3!
So 3 rolls around and the site finally comes up. And we go mad with testing. In the end I got pissed off with going round in circles. I got the spec off Ben, sat at the computer in the corner and ensconsed myself with my headphones on until I'd gone through the damn thing. Which took me until about 5.20. Then we had a call with the ecommerce people. Then I eventually got to come home :)
Smiffy came over, we had Burger King and got 'Failure to Launch'. I now want to be Zooey Deschanel. She is so cute :)
Friday
We bascially did more of the same today but I had some choice coversations with Rob. He's one of the guys in the computer room who deals with the two systems (web and order system) and we get along quite well. The conversation which was best was this afternoon when we had a mass Smallville/Supernatural convo :p he is a huge smallville fan apart from lana cos he hates her & thinks she a bitch :) it all came from me saying that he and ben should watch supernatural which he commented that Jason Teague (Jensen Ackles' character in Smallville) was in it :) He also now thinks I have a thing for bald guys as I said the only reason I'd watch the Superman movie was Kevin Spacey and the only reason I deign to watch Smallville when it's on tv is Micheal Rosenbaum - although I did correct him as say it was Lex Luthor I loved, not bald guys in general. I babbled about how just JP, JA & MR are after that until he left :p hee!! I love my job and the people I work with :)
And now Hollyoaks is very dramatic... people are going to die... quite literally! In fact 6 people have died, although we can't figure out who the 6th is!
Anyways... going to check out my f-list, drink some booze and help em watch spn :p Addicted? Obsessed? Me?? NEVER!!! :p
Oh and I changed my icon... it says it all cos she's my best mate
