bathing in blankets and stupid movies and pasta and driving until my eyes get sore and 711s and almost full moons that light my bedroom and acoustic portuguese david bowie covers and twinings english breakfast tea and stubble and eyes closed and john belushi.

this is just a reminder that karma, although it at times can be a bitch, it mostly just provides you with pleasant surprises. i needed last night after the past six months.
ANYWAYS! i'm done being sappy. when i think back on all the productive things i was to do over break (ideally, all my abroad essays and my spanish homework) and instead i think about all the stuff that happened over break (possibly losing my job, damaging my relationship with my mother beyond repair, severing ties and seeking comfort in the least expected places), instead of freaking out about it, i've just resigned myself to the fact that they'll be taken care of eventually. 2006 is going to be better than 2005 because, well, it has to be.
dan's coming back to new york with me so that he can finally get himself an appartment. i may not be down until monday and that sucks, but hey, so does new england and its snow.
erin's coming over toniiiight. vicky's coming over tomorrowww, as is dan, and anyone else who's interested. ian, are you home this weekend?
