"Real Muggle ice cream!" She's pulling him into the shop with a wicked grin, placing an order while he looks around.
He wonders what they think. This old, poor, bedraggled man, and this young, beautiful, energetic woman. Do they think she's using him? That he's her father? That it's wrong?
She puts down the sundae, and chants, "I scream, you scream, we all scream for ice cream!"
"When do we start the screaming?"
She laughs, and he's enraptured. It doesn't matter what they think. What matters is this young, beautiful, energetic woman with him.
And she thinks he's worth it.
