[  Appearance  ]

Shikibu Seiju has quite attractive, though effeminate, features however one thing he does have going for him is his height which is relatively taller than more common female variety.
The young man’s optics host a liquid violet color behind long sleek strands of ebony that usually frame his face going down past the middle of his back and then some to his hips, the texture sleek and straight.
Usually the attire he is in-more often is the standard issued uniform with hat and mask and arm band signifying his rank, helping to even him out with a little bit more masculinity with the straight shoulder pads and the like.
When he is not in his work attire he is usually dressed in loose comfortable clothing, nothing to note-worthy or showy.

[  Personality  ]

With an easily amused mind Seiju is usually seen wearing a smile, or wearing an obscured one under his mask only hinted by the glinting in his eyes. Thoughtful and compassionate he’s prone to small acts of kindness to those he relates to. Friendly to almost a childish degree at times, others may find it hard to avoid becoming on friendly terms with the officer, or at the very least, Seiju would find it hard not to present himself with friendly casual air. Though sweetly juvenile in mentality he may-come across as oblivious and gullible to pity drawing words, nevertheless, his calm happy personality may mask the sharp calculating mind that is not as fleeceable as it may seem.

There is a darker side to Shikibu, when that certain wire is tapped in his mentality his consciousness can become devoid of emotion. All train of thought focusing on the completion of his task, resulting in a drastic ruthless demeanor, where he will accept any punishment for performing his own ‘crime’. This wire seems to only become tapped when Seiju is personally involved in a ‘case’ or become too drawn in- when a subject crosses the line Seiju vindicates in his personal morals of right and wrong.

One could say it is, if you scratch a subject Seiju holds dear ( Children, art, and what not ) He’s more willing to not just scratch back- but rip the offender to slow-sadistic shreds. Not because he wants to just eradicate them-but he wants them to feel that pain in the process slowly-and prolonging.

When the officer is locked in his ‘Doll’ like state, he is not entirely lost in it. He can be ‘snapped out of it’ should an outside force penetrate his fixed state of mind, whether with piercing words, or actions.

There is also a underlying feel that Seiju is VERY suicidal for- unstated reasons that may be related to his rough and rotten childhood, and his inability for falling asleep on his own at night. This flaw in his personality has given rise to him risking his life to the hand of a child bent on avenging his parents against the Tokkei which killed them, being Seiju. After being question if the gun he had given the child was loaded or not-Seiju didn’t answer at first- and only smiled stating:

“This past month….” “…I was thinking it would be nice. To go to sleep and think of nothing ever again.”

[   Abilities   ]

Being in his occupation, Seiju is quite apt at offensive and defensive maneuvers. He’s trained in array of combat skills as pre-compulsory to his rank and has knowledge of shorting electrical systems. He also happens to be a excellent cook.

His trade-mark weapon however is a line of garrote wire, which he uses in up front confrontation or to the more traditional use of quietly, quickly, killing a turned away oblivious target. The wire also can have a pulsating electric current coursing through it of varying volts, which are settable.

[  History  ]

Generally
In the Canon, Seiju is part of a special police unit referred to as the Tokkei, which is short for Tokubetsu Shikeishikkou Keimukan Butai-which basically means, Official Unit for Punishment and Special Executions. In fact being in the three person team he happens to be the Vice-captain, Shouta Mikoshiba being the Captain of that team. This Police unit was created due to the rapid influx of morbid crimes that a growing empire can not keep up with- the system of judicial law being sluggish as it is, can by no means accommodate the over flowing population of immense immigration. The cure for this was named- The Rationalization of Trials (RoT) Act. With this law it enabled the judicial processes to be quickened-trials of horrendous acts no longer need the defendant to be present- the trail conducts without the suspect and if he or she is found guilty- they are sentenced right there without them even knowing the out come, which is- usually the death penalty.

With that, one of the 47 units composed of three able individuals is sent out to investigate the crime- scenes witnesses and the like-and ultimately reprehend the criminal and execute the penalty-usually right on the scene of where the subject is found-be it in front of civilians or not-in front of children of that criminal or not. Justice’s power lies in kindness and not in strength, after all.

Personally;
Seiju lives alone, in a large-but drab apartment only hosting a large fish tank a fridge and a large bed which rests before a set of long windows that overlook the sky. It appears to be a expensive apartment but he seems to lack objects to fill it with or any décor-that…or he just feels no inclination to make his apartment more homely. His childhood is only hinted at through the canon, and it is not a pleasant one, the canon hints at the possibility of Seiju growing up in coldness…a silent quiet- if not mute boy on the rough streets.

Some how he managed to get himself involved in the police unit of Tokkei, advancing to the stage of Vice Captain of the very first-and prestigious First Brigade. There it is assumed he excelled in his missions and grown a content friendship with Shouta, his Captain and another individual who hasn’t been spoken of as yet- it could be hinted that either Shouta or Seiju filled the rank the unstated member of the first brigade left when he apparently ‘passed on’.

Thus his life seems to be his job, as the rest of his history is obscured besides the brief flash back to a tragic looking childhood.

[  False memories  ]

Seiju will have no recollection of being a part of the Tokkei, or anyone in his past, save for unspoken of family members. His occupation has not changed in all entirely, however he is certainly not a run about executor ruled by the government. He holds all his abilities from his canon role, however his occupation is of ‘retrieval’ a unit created to retrieve lunatics and murderers (be them escapists or just deemed dangerous loose criminals) and introduce them to they’re knew respected homes (Be it prison or the asylum)- The subjects deemed a danger to society will cause Seiju to be sent out to capture the criminal alive if possible but of course not mandatory unless under orders. This unit is fresh and new- and just recently assembled, so far it is only a small group of officers so Seiju will be getting used to walking Terra and Abyss more often then he did prior to being assembled in this unit.

Much like the Canon, his life will be focused more on his work, his nights are still filled with sleepless hours or pill induced slumber inside a drab studio apartment over looking Terra’s streets.

So as far as his false memories go, his childhood is still a mental pang in his skull, his work is still his life even if the work isn’t the same in the canon, and his nights are still the same. The differences are minimal- the majority of it being he is more alone than in the Canon, and usually spends his free time off the clock- by himself. Though-Shouta ( with permission from Kaori ) is a brief-work related acquaintance of Seiju.
