we (the tattle tales) played our 3rd show last night. Lots of fun, even when I didn't realize my guitar was unplugged for most of "So Wanna Kiss You". Everyone said the backup vocals were almost inaudible, but apparently that's because all 3 of our amps were way too loud. Fortunately, in reality there's no such thing as "too loud" as far as our guitars are concerned, haha, and that's as good a reason as any for me.
speaking of the tattle tales the shit we're recording in natoli's basement is coming out way better than I thought that basement could pull.
But yeah, I'm happy with how we played, all that, it seemed like we got a good reception from those in attendance.
On the way back we watched Oyer and Carrie get into a terrifying car accident. Not as fun. Hopefully the car's not too fucked up, I never got that good of a look.
then we went to the diner with a pretty full group some time around 12-12:30ish I think. Good times.
Today I haven't done a goddamn thing.
but yeah, life, it's kinda okay. I've got a girlfriend and a band, both of which I'm madly in love with, and I have another like 2 and a half weeks off of school.
But my week off work ends tomorrow. That's bullshit.
