Popolo special on Troubleman (June)
SPECIAL INTERVIEW
This time I really think inside of me: "Let's try to not strain myself". Since around last year. It's the first time that I think that I don't want my performance to be influenced by my stress under the words "Act!".
I talk like this but in the end if I'm too conscious, "Try to be natural, try to be natural", the result is that I'm under stress the same. This is the difficult side but I think that if I will be able to act without too many chains, being relaxed in a proper meaning, it will be great.
Of course, thinking is important.
It doesn't mean that you can behave naturally only without thinking to anything but it's that thinking and thinking in the end you understand that you don't have to do "anything" at all!
But sometimes I think about it a lot. Maybe this balance is the most important thing.
This drama is an entertaining show with a good tempo but of course since the writer/director is SABU-san, the work is a little surreal too. You can sense the "SABUism" in it, I really love this surreal world.
Since I saw SABU-san's works before, in my own inspiration, I thought that it would have been a pretty weird experience. On the opposite I have to do scenes that look so much weird in a very normal way...
Doing like this, I think it's possible to create a performance on the screen while doing several experiments on the scenes.
Even the director told me "Be relaxed!" so I think that if I can act, as a life-sized me, without straining myself it's the best!
WHAT'S NEW
A super secret infiltration of Popolo in a filming day of "Troubleman"! That day they were filming in the apartment set placed in a city suburbs' studio. We were impressed by the fullfilled expression on Shige's face while he was working close to his co-stars and to the director.
"We started to film in March but in just 3 weeks we filmed around 1/3 of the whole drama" - he said smiling.
The filming are going on smoothly!
LOVE TROUBLES Q&A
Q. I fell in love with my friend's boyfriend. What can I do? Should I give up?
A. "Go on an abroad trip!"
It seems quite heavy (bitter laugh). To reset everything to the start maybe it's better to detach from the actual situation. If the person you like is near you can't even find a new love. Right...fly the more far possible (lol). Have a trip, go to find yourself.
Q. With my boyfriend there are many times when we don't hear eachother...I can't ask him but I'm worried!
A. "Let's believe in him!"
It's better if you don't ask. Maybe he's organizing a surprise for you, who knows. Besides I think that hiding something to not making the person you love be worried is an expression of kindness.
Q. I sit beside the guy to whom I confessed and who rejected me. What can I do for this horrible atmosphere?
A. "Try to become friend!"
You can't do anything else but trying to become his friend (lol)! It must really be awkward but the responsible is the one who confessed. On the opposite, I think that if you are still in love with him and you think you have some chances you should try your best again. If it's really impossible, concentrate on the lesson pretending not to know!
LITTLE INFORMATIONS
-Since the weather was still cold Shige couldn't stay without a coat but if he wore it the hairstyle got messy so he thought that the best is wearing it backwards.
-Shige was worried that his shocked expression is always the same but he got reassured by director SABU.
-During the scene with Tagawa with the gun suddenly Kameda's glasses slipped...again and again. Shige couldn't help and bursted into laughter.
-When he has free time during the filming day Shige studies the script many times but if the time is long he sleeps. He also waits on the home-position chair. If you see him from the back it seems he's all round, kawaii!
-Tokuda's style is the typical Salary man one: a suit. Very fresh and without the necktie he's very manly. He has slippers with the label "Toku-chan".
