(no subject)
I seriously haven't updated in forever. School is honestly taking over my life. I've done like 200 pages of reading today and still have another 200 to do on top of a study group to go to for a midterm that I have to take on Tuesday. No big deal I guess. Life is just really busy right now. So, to counter the stress, I'm drinking tea and listening to Alison Krauss. It seems to be helping.
Russia things are crazy. The original program said that our orientation would be in Finland. The good things about this are that plane tickets are cheap and the flight is relatively stress-free. However, in the program updates email I got, our orientation is now actually in St. Petersburg. Good things about this are that I will actually be in the country I'm studying from the beginning, however, plane tickets are about $500 more expensive. LAME. And this flight has about a million stop-overs. And the airlines I've been looking at don't give me the option of flying out of a different city on the return flight, which is the plan for the end of my trip. Frustrations all around.
Anyways, other than that, things are good. I miss Mike a ton, but he's having a blast in Japan, so that is good to hear. Anyways, I need to get back to my homework...
