On car stereos...
So, I have sound in my car again.
This past Saturday, with the help of a local friend, I put a spare amplifier in my car and connected it to all the remaining dash/body speakers. I then routed a stereo RCA cable from the amp to my console and plugged my iPod into a 1/8" stereo jack to RCA connector. Thus, I have sound in my car again. With the treble boosted by way of the iPod's internal EQ it even sounds decent! There's almost no bass of course but that will come with time and subwoofer re-building. ;]
For the moment it's "shuffle all" and a lot of skipping forward. I really need to get my iPod organized. :]
