the glass is still half full
i am officially half way through my vacation. i am so relaxed, it's nice. i wish i could take more time off, more often. it's nice to be able to breathe without answering to anyone. it's nice to come and go as i please and feel rested and not hurried. i am always pushing myself to be really good at everything and it's a lot of pressure. granted, most of it is self imposed... although, honestly, the really good people have this expectation that people who fluctuate don't have. it's the nature of any sales job, really. so it's really nice to have a break from that and just be me and not worry about this unspoken standard. after 3 long months of overtime and busyness i needed this breathe of fresh air.
mike is off now for the next 5 days so that will be welcomed time together. today it's movie and dinner i think (i have the tales from the crypt sesason 1 and the clerks 2 animated series sitting here waiting to be watched). tomorrow it's off to moncton for shopping and family visits for a couple of days. saturday we come back and sunday is double dating to the movies with frecki and ryan. busy busy!
