this whole weekend has been great
friday i went to java jazz and brought john with me. we went to go see bryan's band play (a blissful tragedy) & glass intrepid play. it was glass intrepid's cd release show. & heck yesss i got their cd. it's great (i'm listening to it now). & holyyyyy crap. it was fun. kaitlyn, laura, cottle, erin, barrett, his "g/f", ryan, jeremy, & some other girl (sorry, forgot her name) were there. we watched bryan's band rock out and then jeremy, ryan, john and me went to chick-fil-a (in old town spring of course) to go get some mormon chicken. mormon chicken=love. then we went back to java jazz. i caught part of morningside drive's show. & i got one of their shirts. it's rad. then i saw part of makeshift's show. & i am so totally regretting not getting their cd. ugh, i am stupid. they are awesome. ah, & then glass intrepid... one word: wow. their guitarist hung from the rafters and played his guitar. it was awesome. so totally awesome. & i am in love with their song "miles away." it makes me feel warm inside. so many people showed up for glass intrepid & it got really hot inside because everyone was jumping & i felt dizzy. so me & john went outside. by that time it was almost time to leave. my daddy came & picked us up. my sister was in the car, too. i got home around 12 dreading the fact i had to wake up at 6 in the morning for our drunline comeptition.
saturday morning i woke up at 6 a.m. yesss cranky & tired & almost fell asleep in the car. we had drumline practice in the morning before we left for our competiton in the woodlands. we got third place out of 3 in our division. yeah, we didn't do so hot i guess. the bus ride was the grandest of all though. jay & nathan rapped a message for rosie & jay complained about rosie throwing his hanky out the window. danae dressed nathan up in sunglasses, a hankercheif thing around his neck, & a hair band thing. he was a model for about twenty minutes. kevin tried to stick a dorito in michelle's mouth while she was sleeping resulting in her waking up, grabbing the dorito & smashing it in his face. oh it was the best. jay soaked kaitlyn with really cold water, stuck ice down her shirt & she moved to the front of the bus. poor kaitlyn. nathan told us about this war weapon he made up & it's the grossest-makes-you-hurt thing ever. but it's wicked cool. then we were back in cypress. oh joy. we unloaded the equipment bus & i went home & slept. then later on me & my family went to my dad's company bowling tournament. it was fun. i got 2 strikes in a row, but it was just a stroke of luck. i wasn't home until 11 & i was so tired. yesss tired=bad.
& todayyyy was boring. i slept in until 12, took a shower, played the monsters inc. video game with my sister while listening to tom petty & glass intrepid, took a nap, went outside & skateboarded with my sister, ate dinner, did dishes, worked on the at home driver's ed thing (boringgggg), & now i'm here updating in my lj because i have no life. not really. but still.
