Stuff I've done since Christmas:
Started reviewing KBY every week for Rock Sound
Went to the CMPi awards, where Vernon Kay hosted and The Human League played (tres bizarre)
Changed to Pulse
Went to The Interiors Event at NEC
Got a pay rise
That stuff was fun. I really haven't done much else apart from work stuff though, just the odd drink here and there. Suffice to say I am feeling caged and lonely. Tomorrow I will get paid and go home for the weekend, and everything will feel better. I will get to watch and review Killswitch Engage on Monday. Then I will plan things to do during the year so I feel less like a sad un-London recluse.
In other news, one of my ex coursemates needs a case study for the Daily Mail. Yes, you'd be whoring yourself out a bit but they pay the most out of all the newspapers...
I'm a case study short for a feature I'm writing on high achieving, university educated young women who have a tendency to overindulge when it comes to booze. If any of you would classify yourself as a bit of a boozehound-or you know any who've been to uni and are doing quite well for themselves at the moment-then get in touch asap. At the moment it would just involve a quick interview, then if the editor wants to go ahead with the feature you'd have to have your picture taken. There's a fee in it for you of course! And we won't mention who you/they work for.
