Close Encounters
So I went to the movies with my mom, and my two little brothers. It is Collin's birthday so we went to go see The Chronicles of Narnia. Awesome movie.
We went and used the automated ticket thing and just as our tickets finished printing a man in a suit came up to us and asked us to "please, stand over there." so we did, but we were kind of confused. I looked around and saw that there were a few men in suits walking out of the theater, obviously some kind of protection. I said "I guess someone important is leaving." Then I saw who. For any of you who know who President Gordon B. Hinckley is, that's who was leaving! I was shocked and excited at the same time. We didn't get to say hello or anything to him but I was like 10 feet from him. It was so awesome. We figure he had just seen The Chronicles as weel because C.S. Lewis is one of his favorite authors and I really can't imagine him seeing anything else that was playing there.
All in all... saw an awesome movie. Saw an awesome person. YAY!
