Today, I go back to work after a month long vacation. I'm not excited to do this but I suppose I have to in order to keeping getting my stipend. To combat this stupid entrance back into reality, I choose to wrap myself in healthy, warm fantasy...sort of like a sweater. Therefore, today is not just the day I go back to work. Today is also the day of "Margeaux's Super Awesome Fantasy Fun Day." This includes but is not limited to a picnic lunch after work, a trip to the Neue National Gallerie for possibly irritating modern art experience including but not limited to Jannis Kounellis and some Dadaism:
After the museum will be a two o'clock showing of Evening. I never got to see it in the states so I'm gonna go see it now. I just hope it's not sad as I will be going alone. After the movie I'm meeting up with Elizabeth and we're going to cook dinner and watch Ugly Betty then probably meet Anup and Sam for a quiet Shish[a]. Somewhere in there I will also get a coffee and read more of my Franny and Zooey. I'd wanted to read it for such a long time and hadn't gotten around to it until just recently when I found a used copy in this English language book shop in Friedrischein. It was totally zufaellig that I stumbled upon it. Es war wie Schicksal dieses Buch zu lesen.
