(no subject)
Today I decided to be productive and do some housework. I did some dishes and cleaned up the kitchen, vacuumed and did a few loads of laundry. Nathan worked outside starting on our landscaping. It looks really nice, I'm proud of him! Our house and yard have gotten a little out of control in the past year. There is just so much to do we don't know where to start; and then when we do start something we never finish it and end up starting on something else. So there are many unfinished projects that need to be completed. What's sad is our yard is basically 2x2 feet, so you'd think we would have gotten that done first, but no. We did start on it last summer though... and didn't finish it. Oh well. We are determined to get things going for good this year.
Aside from that, I decided to make burgers for dinner. You'd think that wouldn't be so hard, but look who was doing the cooking! I had to thaw the meat in the microwave and ended up leaving it in there too long so the meat started to cook and then when I tried to form it into burgers it wouldn't so we ended up with big blobs on buns. Oh well, it was still edible and good.
I'll probably spend the rest of the day either sitting around doing nothing or attempting to clean some more. I should probably finish the laundry too so that I have stuff to wear to work this week. I guess that answers what I'll be doing then... damn. Guess I'll get started....
