Still Nothing Heard
Among my coworkers it's ever changing business, as usual. Our site has announced yet one more major organizational restructure and named the new management team, however, for those of us who are waiting notice of the selection results in the company's managed open resourcing session which was to have made its selections on the 20th and announced to candidates the results... we're still waiting. In fact, the silence is deafening! As part of the last things I did before leaving the office to catch my bus back to town, I asked my Boss his view. He asked me to see him tomorrow so he can pass along his insight, this because he hasn't heard anything either. Oh well, I'm not overly concerned, this as many other things is completely out of my control to impact. I had two (in my view) good interviews and hopefully there will be a satisfactory outcome. If not, I'll assess and determine what options are in my future.
Regardless, my next surgery is scheduled for 15 April and I am planning to present myself to receive the corrective hip replacement that will improve my wellbeing for the long term. LOML, (aetheldaeg) and I are eager to have this completed so that we can evolve our concentration to other things.
