Projects and Gadgets
LOML (aetheldaeg) and I have been moving a number of "Honey do" small projects around our home to "Honey done." No matter, a new crop are being added as I write, namely a new wardrobe for our entry hallway to house recycling and our keys, hats, gloves etc that are essential, therefore should be kept close to the entry/egress used most often has to be assembled. Also, we bought some tongue and groove pine boards which will be put together to make a panel for the front our our jetted tub in our bathroom. the tub was originally fronted by a tile facade, however last year during the installation of a replacement window, one of the workmen stepped on the hot water faucet, breaking it, and although there is/was an access port to the shut-off valves, there isn't enough space to effect maintenance or servicing of the taps. Expectation is that we will put together the wardrobe and create the panel before I depart on Sunday with installation of the facade during the coming week after its painted. This week, we relocated a full length mirror to our fitness room, put up a new mirror in the entry hall, hung a few pieces of artwork and bought a new wardrobe, see above for its use.
Earlier today I received a new to me i-Pad! Not much for all the tech stuff, I accepted LOML's offer to negotiate one for my use. I've downloaded a bunch of Apps and over time I know that I will get plenty of use of it.
Weather has been sort of cooperating in our area, horrible winds yesterday nixed any discretionary travel but today has been gorgeous by comparison. Temps slightly above seasonal norms and sunshine to warm the soul. I'm hopeful for more of the same but I also know that Winter has not begun to fade into memory, just taking a respite to gather strength for bone chilling temperatures and lots of snow still to come.
