Basketball and shopping
I'm not sure how or why sports entered into my world but I cannot live without them. No one else in my immediate family has any attraction to sports (except NASCAR, which is really more about the cars than the race). They could take them or leave them. Me however, I cannot survive with out them. This is a problem. When my favorite teams lose (Chicago Cubs, NC State), I'm just devastated. Saturday was one of those days... We got our asses handed to us twice over by Carolina. The sad part was I didn't really expect to win but I did expect the game to be competitive. I guess we have another chance in February to either redeem ourselves or ......
After we watched the terrible basketball game, there was some shopping. I needed to buy some 'froofy' items for the condo so it has that model home feel. I needed toolprincess and bell to go with me because I'm not really very good at buying froofy things. We got all the things on our list except one frame which hubby and I picked up yesterday. I had a great time shopping but it is tiring. I like to shop but I like to go for the things I want to buy, not for the things I need to buy. The girls were great and we stayed with in the constraints of the budget.
I'm glad to have the shopping over. We have the cleaning lady coming on Saturday and then the relator returns on Sunday to give the place the once over and measure. Hopefully, we will have everything done by then..... because I'm tired of cleaning and de-cluttering. It is really no fun to have stuff hanging over your head everyday....
