tron:uprising thoughts?

hey everyone! So now that Tron:Uprising has been out for a few weeks, what do we all think? My thoughts are that it is really pretty, but I'm reserving judgement on the story since it's just starting out. I'm really loving the show. I wasn't sure what I'd think of it after the special airing of the ten part mini-sodes just before the series premiere, but after four eps, I'm sold. Love all of the nods to the previous film and foreshadowing to Legacy. I'm so in love with Paige, it's insane. I hope we get to learn a little more about the Game Girls (the programs dressed in white, like Jem), esp. after the last episode.

Now that I've seen the episode with Paige's backstory, I really like her a lot. Though she seems a little easy to manipulate. I also am in love with the instrument she plays. It reminds me of an app I have for my iphone.

So I just did the Disney Second Screen of Tron Legacy and I just found out that Quorra's original name was Paige. :D So I guess someone involved has a fondness for the name.

(Also Sam's original name was Sean, but you have to figure that one out from a random graphic!)

That's really interesting about Quorra and the name Paige. However, I think they did themselves better by going with Quorra for that character. I'm always analyzing character names, to see if they actually fit with the personalities written for them. The name "Quorra" definitely fits her, esp. with numerology involved:

I think it's going to be more optimistic than that. I bet Tron sacrifices himself and saves Beck and Beck continues the uprising.

Which reminds me, wouldn't it be awesome if Flynn showed up?

only they probably won't get to that story line until three seasons from now if they keep up the same pace. :P
