Phone is essentially dead: I left the charger in Vale when we were visiting Paul's family there. Because I NEVER leave there without forgetting something, usually something quite important.
Graphic Packaging, who wanted an entry level mechanical engineer with six sigma knowledge (I think you're looking at about the only one) called me yesterday (I missed the call) asking me to call back to set up a time to have a phone interview.
PHONE IS ESSENTIALLY DEAD.
Phone charger is in the mail, but will probably not get here til next week.
*panics*
I'ma going to go see if I still have that car-phone charger down in the car, and if I need to I'll make it while plugged into Katie! (the car)
In the mean time, I've gotten no less than TWO emails from unspecified companies (maybe the same? Maybe total fraud?) asking me to call them to confirm an interview spot for like, TODAY. For an "Account Executive". The wording on them is like, identical, and theoretically from different people, and neither lists the company at all. Plus they ask to come there for different interview days. And what on earth is an "Account Executive" anyways. It's creepy enough that I think I'm just going to bin them both, but then I feel guilty about turning down interviews.
Today's goals:
Get all my campus paperwork sorted out:
Band scholarship letter (Diana)
Engineering scholarship letter (mailed)
TA December Timesheet (Dr. Luftig, Applied Math office)
GRE Report to Larry
CAETE followup
Call Graphics Packaging to set up the phone interview!!! (Took like 4 calls before I caught the lady in her office, but I have a conference call tomorrow at 1:30!)
All the Kappa robes finished except the black ones, and possibly the blindfolds.
Clean the house! (people are coming over tonight...)
4-hrs of job-applying
ETA:
Car phone charger was indeed there! I have a charged phone again. And considerably numb fingers from sitting out in a cold car for an hour.
